Eduardo Lara

Eduardo has served as the Hispanic Pastor at New Hope Baptist Church since September 2019. His calling is to preach and teach God's Word faithfully, shepherd God's people through authentic relationships, and help others know Christ, grow in their faith, and experience God's love. His prayer is to see lives transformed by the gospel and believers grow in a deep love for God and His Word.

Eduardo holds a Master of Divinity from Palmer Theological Seminary at Eastern University and is currently pursuing a Doctor of Ministry degree at Gateway Seminary as part of his ongoing desire to know God more deeply, grow in His Word, and faithfully shepherd His people. Over the years, Eduardo has served in pastoral ministry, theological education, and church planting. Before entering full-time ministry, he earned a bachelor's degree in Electronic and Communications Engineering.

Eduardo and his wife, Nimsi, joyfully serve the Lord together with their two daughters. As a family, they enjoy investing in the life of the church, building authentic relationships, and walking alongside people as they experience God's love and grow in their relationship with Christ.

Outside of ministry, Eduardo enjoys spending time with his family, staying active, watching movies, enjoying soccer, and discovering great food. Whether preaching, sharing a meal, or spending time with others, he loves building meaningful relationships and helping people experience God's love.
